FAQ

Q1: Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

Jinxing is a manufacturing enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of thermal break strips. We have our own production base and extrusion molding lines, and control the main production processes in-house, from raw material preparation and extrusion to cooling, shaping, cutting, and inspection.

Q2: What types of thermal break strips do you manufacture?

Our main product is PA66 GF25 Thermal Break Strip. We produce I-Type, C-Type, T-Type, and special-shaped thermal break strips for thermally insulated aluminum profiles, doors and windows, and curtain wall systems.

Q3: Can you make thermal break strips according to our drawings?

Yes. We support non-standard cross-sections and tooling based on customer drawings. After reviewing the required profile geometry and application conditions, we can develop the corresponding mold and proceed with production after the design is confirmed.

Q4: What information do you need for a customized thermal break strip?

For a custom profile, the cross-sectional drawing is the most important reference. We may also need information such as required dimensions, installation or insertion conditions, required length, color, hardness, and packaging method so that the product can be matched to the actual application.

Q5: What dimensional tolerance can you achieve?

For our extrusion production, dimensional tolerances can be controlled within ±0.05 mm by controlling extrusion temperature, pulling speed, and cooling water temperature. The actual tolerance requirement should be confirmed according to the profile geometry and product specification.

Q6: What materials are used for your thermal break strips?

Our thermal break strips are based on PA66 nylon reinforced with GF25 glass fiber. We inspect incoming raw materials for melt flow index, glass fiber content, and moisture content before production.

Q7: How do you control the quality of each batch?

Our quality control covers raw materials, in-process inspection, finished products, and shipment. During production, cross-sectional dimensions and surface condition are sampled every half hour, while each batch undergoes laboratory testing for properties such as density, Shore hardness, tensile strength, water resistance, thermal aging, and coefficient of linear expansion.

Q8: Which standards do you test your thermal break strips against?

According to the product and customer requirements, batch testing can be carried out in accordance with GB/T 23615.1-2017 or EN 14024. Our testing covers both room-temperature and temperature-related performance requirements, including tensile testing at 90°C and -30°C.

Q9: What supply forms are available for thermal break strips?

We provide straight strips and coiled strips. Straight strips are supplied in 6-meter lengths, with 50 or 100 pieces per bundle, while coiled strips are supplied at 500 meters per roll.

Q10: Can you provide cut-to-length thermal break strips?

Yes. In addition to standard 6-meter straight strips and 500-meter coils, we provide cut-to-length processing according to customer requirements. We can also support end chamfering and laser coding for products requiring additional processing.

Q11: Can you customize the color and packaging?

Yes. We support special color requirements such as gray and white, as well as customized packaging. Laser coding can also be provided for information such as logos, batch numbers, and production dates.

Q12: Can you help with problems during strip insertion or roll forming?

Yes. Our technical support covers profile slot design, strip insertion, and roll forming parameters. For issues such as difficult strip insertion, cracking during roll forming, or insufficient shear strength, we can review the relevant conditions and provide adjustment suggestions.

Q13: How can I check the quality of the products before shipment?

Before shipment, finished products undergo appearance and dimensional inspection according to AQL requirements. An English inspection report can also be provided with the goods.

Q14: Do you supply thermal break strips for overseas customers?

Yes. Our thermal break strips have been exported to Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America, and other regions. We serve building door and window manufacturers, aluminum profile companies, curtain wall system suppliers, and engineering material purchasers.
